Where are you?

Many people seek answers in studying the Bible.
As an end-times prophecy. As a history of salvation. As a testimony of Christ.
The more you learn, the deeper your understanding becomes. Your knowledge increases. The world you see expands.
But then I suddenly stopped.
Have I changed at all?
I learned these things because I wanted to be happy, but nothing has changed.
I prayed for abundance, but I feel unfulfilled.
On the contrary, the more I understand, the more I feel left behind by reality.
What exactly is going on?
The Bible is not a book of explanations.
It describes scenes where God speaks and how people respond to Him.
Among them, there was one question that resonated with me first.
"Where are you?" (Genesis 3:9)
God did not give man an explanation; He did not ask for knowledge.
However, I was asked about my location.
Where are you?
This question is not about past events.
It's directed at us right now, at this very moment.
God is speaking.
People have already responded to that narrative.
Well then, what about me?
What are you responding to?
